Providers using certified EHR software by 2011 will see a total of $44,000, while providers who wait until 2014 will be eligible for only $24,000. After 2015, incentive payments will end.
Yes. Medicare payments may be reduced to 99% in 2015, and reduced further to 97% by 2017 for practices that have not implemented a certified EHR.
