Sales Associate - Healthcare

A Sales Associate is a results oriented inside sales associate responsible for selling medical transcription services and electronic health record systems to small physician practices across the country. President Obama has passed a 19 billion dollar stimulus plan to incentivize physicians to adopt electronic medical records.

Working at MxSecure’s headquarters in Scottsdale, AZ, each Sales Associate focuses on a particular geographic region.Each Sales Associate works with to coordinate the activities of the other members of the sales team and to leverage the business and technical experts within the MxSecure organization to acquire new customers.

Sales Associate Responsibilities: Specific responsibilities of the Sales Associate include: • Segment target accounts into tactical plans • Cold call, prospect, network each week into the assigned target accounts to identify opportunities and develop relationships with Director level and above contacts across multiple customer departments • Make introductory presentations to executives and managers at assigned target accounts and other accounts as identified by the ISM • Work with the manager to strategize and plan each opportunity in the sales pipeline • Follow the MxSecure selling process and document progress with each qualified opportunity in MxSecure’s sales force automation system. MxSecure’s selling process includes appropriate messaging at each stage of the sales cycle, and expected number of activities per week.

Skills/ Requirements

Sales Associate Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years selling experience to the healthcare industry or within the technology space
• Experience selling software-as-a-service, professional services for a subscription or healthcare a plus
• Enjoyment in prospecting and building a funnel of opportunities
• Bold and fearless in contacting leads, using repetitive, and professional methods to reach leads and opportunities focused on closing
• Understands sales techniques and theories and applies them appropriately to MxSecure’s sales process and methods; possesses a documented history of diligently applying strategic selling skills
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Solid experience using opportunity management software such as salesforce.com
• Solid experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• BA or BS degree

Medical Transcriptionist

A Medical Transcriptionist is a medical language specialist who interprets and transcribes dictation by physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding patient assessment, work-up, therapeutic procedures, clinical course, diagnosis, prognosis, etc., in order to document patient care and facilitate delivery of healthcare services. MTs need a practical knowledge of medical language, anatomy, physiology, disease processes, pharmacology, laboratory medicine, and the internal organization of medical reports. They must also have an above-average knowledge of English grammar and punctuation.

Requirements:

• The two years of experience required does not include time spent in an educational environment (i.e., must be "on-the-job" experience).
• You must have been employed as a Medical Transcriptionist within the last five years.
• Other healthcare positions, i.e., medical secretary, R.N., M.D., etc., cannot be applied towards the two-year transcriptionist work requirement.
• Experience that will not apply towards the two-year minimum requirement would be positions held as a court reporter, administrative assistant, or MTs that transcribe worker's compensation reports for the insurance industry.
